- Power Consumption: 6500 W Peak draw with chamber heating, 600 W continuous base machine draw.
- The machine ships with two Nema 6-20p connections.
- One plug is for main machine power and must be connected Max 10a peak draw.
- The second plug is for the chamber heater and is optional. Max 30a peak draw.
- It is recommended to use separate circuits to be used. Optionally a single 50a circuit may be used for both.
- Always connect the equipment to a properly grounded power source. Do not bypass or defeat the ground lead.
- Ensure all electrical connections meet the machine's power requirements.
- Avoid installing the printer near vibration-sensitive equipment, as the machine may vibrate during operation.
- Place the machine in a clean environment with good air quality and minimal airborne particulates during operation.
Selecting the Installation Site
When choosing the installation site, consider the following:
Positioning and Maneuvering the Printer
Maneuvering the Printer:
- Use a forklift to move the packaged printer to its designated location.
Unpacking the Printer:
- While the printer is on the pallet, use an Allen key to remove the bottom skirt.
- Use the forklift to lift the printer, making sure that the forks appear on the opposite side of the machine.
- Lower the printer onto its caster wheels and roll it into its final position.
Final Placement:
- Once the printer is positioned, rotate the thumb wheels on each caster to lower the leveling pads.
- Ensure the machine is stable and level
before proceeding. - Reinstall the bottom skirt
Power Connection:
- The machine will arrive with two cables. One handles the majority of the machine functions, while the second powers the chamber heater.
Power On and Initial Setup
Step 1: Manual Bed Leveling
Step 2: Auto Bed Leveling
- On the touch screen, press "Settings" → "Auto Leveling".
- The machine will automatically calibrate the bed using the Z-probe.
- Return to the Auto leveling screen, and enable your created bed map by tapping on the name. A colored checkerboard should appear showing the offsets. The bed mesh is now active.
Note: When changing between materials, repeat the auto-leveling process to maintain accuracy.
Final Step
Once the printer is leveled and powered on, your CreatBot D1000 HS is ready to print. Verify all connections, and perform a test print to ensure proper functionality and calibration
